Yay! The goal was to stretch out the bottom a bit. The blocking worked and I can button the sweater if I want to! But I may not even want to. Now I can move on to Everyday Cardigan once again. Working on the back now, 22 inches seems really long. I may decide not to do that many inches. We'll see...This is a dropped sleeve loose- fitting pattern. Very different from what I just made in its fit and sleeve type.
On to the closing ceremonies and doing a few more inches. It is pouring rain here by the way. Not exactly August weather!

ooo, this one will be pretty! are you considering selling these sweaters if you make more?
So far the few I've made have been to fit me and they are usually alot of money invested in wool -unless you get a good deal on it!and time, so if I got to where I could really pump them out, I'd probably give them to relatives who special-ordered them! But so far not making them fast enough to think of selling them!

I just noticed your Flickr thing (since you pointed it out) and looked on there...and I ABSOLUTELY love the felted bags!!! oh my!! I would love to learn how to crochet a HUGE bag like those...what an excellent idea!! I'm a huge fan of those very large hobo bags...so this looks like I could crochet a nice purse in the size that I want! you are SO talented!
by the way, can you give me some pointers on these bags?? are the insides of them lined and if so, how would you line them after knitting them (or in my case, crochet)?
The bags I did were knit and not lined. If you felt them all the way, they become really like one smooth piece of wool. Try getting that book "Crocheting for Dummies" or looking at "Michaels" or a yarn shop for ideas, or you can sign up free for Ravelry.com and there is a crochet community on the site and you can get all the pattern ideas you want! You can line them though with fabric and have your talented SIL Erin help you!!
