On a Saturday end of April, we took a little girls day out to a place in Univ. Village that still does the "paint your own ceramics" thing. We've done this many times before, but felt like being creative.

Here we are getting all artsy together. We each did a different bowl this time.


Here's Michelle's "before" shot. She used her favorite browns and greens.

Here's how theirs turned out. Very fun and lovely and unique.

Mine looked like this before firing. I had to use three coats of a special glaze and it cost more to use it. It was called Ironstone and I adored the sample chip of it. Here it just looks like terra cotta:

There's Firefly Ceramics in Ventura, and I still haven't gone. This is such a neat thing to do!
