My final "Olympic" feat: Adding the buttons! Which of course are merely decorative since I can't button the thing...but that's OK! It's DONE!!!!!!! I think I am proud of how it turned out, little flaws and all!
Thanks, Bea, I think I may try to block it out more with a damp cloth over it and see if I can ease it out a little wider without damaging the ribbing.
what is blocking? The sweater looks fantastic!!!! could you wash it and stretch it out and then lay flat to dry? that's what I do with all brad's shirts to stay long bc he is so tall, and they stay great.
That is actually one method of "blocking"-washing it and laying it out to dry and pinning it down. Very good, Jessica! See, you knew more than you thought!

Congratulations, Jeannine! It looks so good on you. I think the fit is fine now, but blocking will definitely help.
